Meet Selenia
Born into a Puerto Rican American family, Selenia found solace in anime, TV, and movies. They found their voice through writing. Selenia has lived with several illnesses since birth. Julie and the Phantoms came into their life in a period of great transition and inspired them to be brave. They are pursuing a degree in film in the hopes of spreading the true Latinidad to the masses. The convention idea came to Selenia in the midst of bouts of pain.
Meet Andrea
Born in Guatemala and raised mostly in Canada, Andrea has always loved drawing, movies, TV, and music. After being diagnosed with MS in 2014, she found even more meaning in helping others and bringing people together. When Selenia shared her idea for a Julie and the Phantoms convention, Andrea couldn’t resist joining the adventure! She’s excited to help turn that idea into a fun and unforgettable experience for fans.
